The couple opted for a pretty color pallet of white and grey. Marlene wore a beautiful satin mermaid gown embellished with lace. Her flower crown was such a perfect addition! Shayne and the groomsmen wore classic grey suits, and the bridemaid’s silver lace gowns were just the right amount of glam.
Their reception decor consisted of lanterns, garland and a bountiful array of white flowers (stay tuned for Part 2 of the wedding video).
Marlene tells us that her favorite moment was “walking down the aisle and seeing my husband-to-be at the other end of the bridge. I had that nervous, excited feeling inside. That moment I’ve been planning for a year was finally here. The bridge was my favorite spot on the property. I wish I could have frozen that moment in time.”
Guests dined on Mojos BBQ which is always a hit; they never fail to serve delicious food. Our personal favorite is their shrimp & grits! Marlene said that she worked with Sherry who helped her with the menu and bar planning.
The couple’s parting advice is, “Don’t stress about the little things. Everything always comes together in the end, and the small things won’t matter. What matters is that you are marrying the person of your dreams.”
